Who is behind SehnsuchtsArt?

My name is Birgitt Schumacher and I am a watercolor artist from Delmenhorst.

Even as a child, I painted everything I saw, but watercolor painting initially remained just a hobby. Now our children are grown and almost out of the house. My husband Thorsten and myself are still young enough to tackle a new challenge. We turned my hobby into a business in January 2022.

I sell my watercolor prints as postcards, posters, magnets, breakfast-boards, cups, calendars and much more. My items are now all over the North Sea coast and can be found up to the north of Denmark.

It's particularly nice that I have my paintings not only for me, but they bring joy to many other people as well.
